Veterinary Clinic
Ocean Reef Veterinary Clinic provides clients with consult hours 7 days a week, performing soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery on site in addition to an onsite lab and in house imaging and one of the few Hydrotherapy setups in Australia excellent for dogs with joint problems from obesity to arthritis and spinal cases.
The practice started in Feb 1990 by principle veterinarian Dr. Clive Lamond, BVSc (Sydney). His philosophy is unique in that he addresses the need of the client above all else, and works hard to build strong client relationships.
The practice now has 4 veterinarians on staff including Dr. Jeneane Power, Bsc, BVMS, Dr. Mari Roberts, Bsc. BVMS and Dr. Angela Hornaday, Bsc. BVMS. Together, they share over 30 years of experience that has spanned state and international borders including Japan and Canada.
The nursing staff including practice manager Eren Arthur; Sammy, Peta, Alix and Cindy share over 20 years of nursing experience and make it their goal to provide quality nursing care and a smiling face for each of your visits. Our goal is to meet the needs of both the patient and the client and offer payment programs such as VetPay® and direct debit so that optimal care can always be supplied, regardless of cost. Our wellness programs also offer a way for essential needs of pets to be tailored to each individual client. We also contribute to research in advancing pet health by investing a portion of revenue to the Australian Cancer Council.
